Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of belt tension and decrease the number of belt change and consequently contrive to improve work efficiency by a structure wherein a shaft to support an idle pulley for adjusting belts to drive a refrigerant compressor in the high speed boat is moved vertically by a screw rod. CONSTITUTION:The idle pulley 7 is rotatably supported through the shaft 13 by a bracket 11 fixed onto a supporting plate 9. The basic end part 13a of the shaft 13 is screwed onto the screw rod 15 hangingly and rotatably provided in the bracket 11. The idle pulley 7 is elevated up and down through the basic end part 13a of the shaft 13 along the screw rod 15 by turning an adjusting nut 17 fitted at the top end of the screw rod 15 with a spanner or the like, resulting in adjusting the tension of the endless belts 5.
