Regarding the bend straightening mechanism for a shaft 1 comprising: a cylindrical main shaft 11 made of steel; a connection member 21 made of steel and fixed to both the edges of the main shaft 11 by welding; a subshaft 31 made of steel in which one end part is engaged with and fixed to a first connection member as one of the connection member 21 and a piercing part 31a is made to pierce with the second connection member 212 as the other of the connection member 21, and which is arranged inside the main shaft 11 also at a position made far at least than the central axis from one side 111 to be straightened in the main shaft 11; and a nut 41a provided at the piercing part 31a of the subshaft 31 to be pierced with the second connection member 212, only by operating the nut 41a, the bend of the one side 111 in the axial direction of the main shaft 11 is straightened.
