PURPOSE: To reduce a loss time required for turning and rechucking a work by arranging respective bending dies so that respective bend-working line directions of a work to be worked are aliged in the longitudinal directions of upper and lower tables and in directions orthogonal to these longitudinal directions.

CONSTITUTION: The bend-working of bend lines 1 and 4 out of the respective bend-working lines (bend line) 1, 2, 3 and 4 of a work W clamped by the gripper G of the work handling robot of a press brake, is performed as usual by bending dies P/D arranged in the center line CL direction of a ram. The bend-working of the bend lines 2 and 3 orthogonal to the bend lines 1 and 4, is performed by the other bending dies Pr/Dr arranged especially in an orthogonal direction to the center line CL of the ram. Consequently, an operation required for turning and rechucking the work W by the gripper G is eliminated, and a working time can be shortened.
