PURPOSE: To prevent a work from separating a prescribed position of a forcing die and to improve the working yield by holding and forming the work surely from the initial stage of forming process to the final stage.

CONSTITUTION: A film-shaped heater as a work is mounted on a positioning part 23. A press is driven to lower an upper die 10. As soon as the lower end part 13 of a formed body 12 abuts on the film-shaped heater with the fall of the upper die, the film-shaped heater is held with the point part of the pin part 27b of a holding part 27. Continuously, with the fall of the upper die 10, the pin 27b, too, falls against a holding spring 29. The work is pressed into a formed groove 22 and formed. When the forming is accomplished and the upper die 10 rises, the formed heater is pushed up by the pin part 27b and pushed out of the formed groove 22. The film-shaped heater is held surely by a work holding means 25 from the initial stage of the forming process to the final stage, it does not separate the prescribed position and the working yield is improved drastically.
