Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict wrinkles from generating at the time of bending of shape of aluminum or aluminum alloy.
SOLUTION: At the time of bending a shape having corner parts, a bending die is used whose part in contact with the compression side corner part of the shapes 1 (square tube) is formed in the smaller radius than the corner radius and at the same time of bending, the corner radius of bending compression side of the shapes 1 is formed smaller than before bending. At the time of bending, the force causing a deformation toward the bending compression side is exerted, and by this force the mass of the corner part of the shapes 1 is moved toward the corner of a compression side roller 2, and the corner part of the shapes 1 after bending is finished by a prescribed radius corresponding to the corner radius of the compression side roller 2.
