To provide a bending method of blade material and a bending apparatus of blade material which performs bending in such a manner that the unprocessed part is not left on the end part of blade material when the belt-like blade material is bent in the crosswise direction.
Thickness deviation processing is performed in such a manner that the linearly pointed tip edges 41, 51 which are disposed on the dies 4, 5 are allowed to force into a part near the blade top 12 of the blade material 1 having the blade top 12 on one edge of the crosswise direction and are allowed to cut thereinto and, through the movement, the web of the blade material 1 is directed to at least the half side of parts into which the edges 41, 51 are cut, is pressed against the same and is caused to flow. The thickness deviation processing is performed on one or more places in the longitudinal directions of both surfaces of the blade material 1 and, on the thickness deviation processing parts, the blade material 1 is subjected to warping deformation in the crosswise direction. The linearly pointed tip edges 41, 51 are made to coincide with each other in the crosswise direction, the thickness deviation processing is performed.
