Abstract:

To provide a bending method of a metal sheet by which the bendability is improved, even a copper alloy of high strength can be bent without being cracked, and the dimensional accuracy is excellent, and to provide an electric-electronic component.

In the bending method of the metal sheet for bending the metal sheet along a notch with the notch formed in a surface of the metal sheet being on the inner bending side, the width of a bottom part of the notch exceeds 50% of the thickness of the metal sheet, and the depth of the notch is 30% of the thickness of the metal sheet. Preferably, the metal sheet consists of a copper alloy, and the tensile strength of the metal sheet is 700 N/mm2.
