Abstract:
To provide a method and apparatus for offering a privilege at settlement based on a purchase of a specific commodity.SOLUTION: In a settlement system, a settlement apparatus 1 includes: an application receiving unit 131 which associates, on receipt of a user ID identifying a user and application information indicating application for offering a privilege when a commodity is purchased, the user ID with the application information; a token generation unit 132 which generates a settlement token, on receipt of a request to acquire settlement information, privilege commodity information identifying the commodity, and a settlement code, from a store terminal, to be associated with the privilege commodity information, and transmits the settlement token to the store terminal; a token receiving unit 133 which receives the settlement token and the user ID from a user terminal having read the settlement code displayed by the store terminal; and a privilege offering unit 134 which offers a privilege corresponding to the application information to the user when the application information associated with the received user ID corresponds to the privilege commodity information relating to the received settlement token.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
