Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [X and Y are halogen or lower alkyl; m and n are 0W3; A is (lower alkyl-substituted) methylene; R is group RaZ-(Ra is H or lower alkyl; Z is O or S)].
EXAMPLE: 4-Chloro-N-carboxymethoxy-N'-(2,6-diethyl)phenylbenzenecarboxyimi damide.
USE: An agricultural and horticultural fungicide.
PREPARATION: An N-hydroxybenzenecarboximidamide derivative shown by formula II is reacted with a halo-fatty acid derivative or tosyloxy-fatty acid derivative shown by formula III (B is halogen or tosyloxy) to give a compound shown by formula I. The reaction is carried out by using an acid binder such as NaOH.
