Abstract:

To provide a new compound containing a fluorescent functional group, especially a compound having environment-responsive fluorescent characteristics varying Φfvalue by the change of ambient environment such as the increase of the polarity of a solvent and provide a fluorescence-labeling reagent containing the compound and a fluorescent reagent.

The compound is expressed by formula (I) (R1is hydrogen atom, halogen atom, hydroxy, cyano, nitro, carboxy, -SOqR5, 1-6C alkyl or the like; X is O or S; R2is hydrogen atom or 1-6C alkyl; Q is 1-10C alkylene; and Y is halogen atom, hydroxy or the like) or its salt.
