NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R1 and R2 are H or alkyl; R3 is R1, R2 or (substituted)phenylalkyl; R4 and R5 are R1, R2, halogen, alkoxy, amino, OH, nitro, etc.; X is O or NH; R6 is group shown by formula II (m is 0 or 1), group shown by formula III (R7 is alkyl, phenylalkyl, etc.; R8 is H or alkoxy; n=m), group shown by formula IV (R9 is alkyl, phenylalkyl, etc.; p and q=m or n), etc.], an optical isomer and a salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: 7-Chloro-5-methyl-4-oxo-N-(3-quinuclidinyl)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,5- benzothiazepine-9-carboxamide.hydrochloride.
USE: A drug having motor sthnia action of stomach, anti-vomiting action and/or 5-HT3 acceptor blocking activity and useful for preventing and treating alimen tary diseases.
PREPARATION: A compound shown by formula V or reactive derivative is reacted with a compound shown by formula VI to give a compound shown by formula I.
