NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R1 and R2 are H; R3 is H, alkyl or (substituted) phenylalkyl; R4 and R5 are H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, etc. ; X is O or NH; R6 is group shown by formula II (m is 0 or 1) or group shown by formula III (R7 is alkyl, substituted phenylalkyl, etc. ; R8 is H or alkoxy; n is 0 or 1)].
EXAMPLE: 6-Chloro-3,4-dihydro-4-methyl-3-oxo-2H-1,4-benzothiazine-8-carboxamide.
USE: Useful for treating mobility sthenia of stomach, antivomition activity, etc.
PREPARATION: (A) A carboxylic acid shown by formula IV or a reactive derivative thereof is reacted with (B) a compound shown by the formula R6-XH, for example, in the case of the component A being a free-carboxylic acid, in the presence of a condensation agent such as titanium tetrachloride in an inert solvent under cooling.
