Abstract:
To provide a novel benzoxazine compound low in melting point, low in curing reaction temperature, high in weight retention rate during a curing reaction because it is hard to be thermally decomposed, and useful for preparing a high heat resistant cured article high in glass transition temperature, and a benzoxazine resin obtained by curing the benzoxazine compound.SOLUTION: The benzoxazine compound is represented by the following formula (1). The benzoxazine resin is a cured article of a thermosetting resin raw material containing the benzoxazine compound. In the formula (1), R is an alkylene group, an aralkylene group, an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or a sulfonyl group, and Ar is an arylene group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
