The present invention provides a new benzoyl compound having an imino group, represented by general formula [I] (wherein Q is a group represented by any of Q1 to Q5; R1 to R12 represent each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like; A represents an optionally substituted 4- to 8-membered heterocycle; G represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; X represents CH2 or the like; Y represents CH3 or the like; and m is an integer of 0 to 4), its salt, a herbicide containing the compound or its salt and a benzoic acid derivative represented by formula [III] which is an intermediate for production of the above compound or its salt.
