Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a berth indicating system that can indicate the movement of a car to a vacant berth speedily and accurately with minimum man power.
CONSTITUTION: In this system, a pager 1 to be lent to a car M entered in a terminal with plural berths and corresponding table data 3a conformed to a car number of this car M both are stored in a memory 3. When a registered car number for moving a car M to a vacant berth and indicating data inclusive of the vacant berth are inputted by an input unit 2, a central processing unit 5 reads a pager number corresponding to the registered car number of indicating data on the basis of the corresponding table data 3a of the memory 3, and transmits a pager number signal showing the pager number and a vacant berth signal showing the vacant berth to a transmitter 4 which transmits both pager number and vacant berth signals toward the pager 1 by radio, and this pager 1 lent to the car M shows a number of the vacant berth.
