PURPOSE: To recognize the betting contents, etc., even with use of a betting card by printing the card information that received its writing instruction from a betting controller in a print area of the betting card by a card betting terminal.

CONSTITUTION: A print area is prepared on a betting card (prepaid card) 1 used as the cash, etc., for the betting of the horse racing. Thus the data on the card balance, the card number, etc., are printed in the print area. A card betting terminal equipment 2 transmits the data on the inserted card 1 and the betting data to a host computer 3 to make the users join the betting. A betting controller 3 receives the betting data on the card 1 from the equipment 2 to calculate the card balance from which an amount accordant with the betting is subtracted and instructs the equipment 2 to write the card balance and the betting data into the card 1. Thus the equipment 2 writes the relevant data into the magnetic stripes of the card 1 based on the instruction of the controller 3 and also prints visibly the betting contents and the card balance in the print area.
