Abstract:
To provide a bevel guard that can be set to a pipe end part of a steel pipe positively and easily without needing welding work or the like.
A bevel guard is composed of a bevel guard body part 2 provided with a vertically split slit in one circumferential place of an annular body that can be jointed to the end face and end part inner surface of a pipe 1 and having a wedge receiver 4 formed by turning up part of annular body end parts facing each other at a slit part, and a wedge 3 formed in angular cross section in the inward direction of the pipe 1 and driven along the wedge receiver 4 to impart enlarging action to the body.
