Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a beverage supply device and a beverage supply method capable of widely informing surroundings including customers, customers waiting for his/her turn to buy, shop clerks, and third parties of a beverage type, a beverage volume, and beverage production and supply states regardless of the presence or absence of a display. To this end, the beverage supply device is provided with: a beverage type sensor 31 and a container size sensor 32 serving as beverage information detection sensors that detect a beverage type and a beverage volume of a container C; a display operation unit 10 that displays at least a confirmation button 10a to provide an instruction to start producing and supplying beverage of the beverage type and the beverage volume; a beverage supply control unit 51 that,in response to pressing of the confirmation button 10a, performs control to produce the beverage of the beverage type and beverage volume and to supply the same to the container C; and a beverage supply start control unit 52 that provides an instruction to start the production and supply of the beverage by the beverage supply control unit 51 after a certain time has elapsed without the confirmation button 10a being pressed since the start of display of the confirmation button 10a.
