Abstract:

To provide a film having excellent strength retention properties under a moist heat environment which comprises a composition including a polymer compound having an aromatic polyester as a main component and a terminal sealed with a carbodiimide compound without generating a free isocyanate compound.

A biaxially oriented film comprises a composition and has specific breaking strength. The composition is obtained by mixing a compound at least including a ring structure having one carbodiimide group of which the first nitrogen is bonded to the second nitrogen through a bonding group, with a polymer compound having an aromatic polyester as a main component.
