Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially stretched polypropylene film having high rigidity in its longitudinal direction using a widely used longitudinal-lateral sequential biaxial stretching method. SOLUTION: The biaxially stretched polypropylene film comprises polypropylene satisfying formula (1): log (MS)>-0.61 log (MFR)+0.82 or formula (2): log (MS)>-0.61 log (MFR)+0.52 in the relation between melt tension (MS) measured at 230 deg.C and a melt flow rate(MFR) and is mixed with at least one kind of an additive compatible with polypropylene and imparting plasticizing effect at the time of stretching.
