Title:
BIDIRECTIONAL OPERATION TYPE IMPACT SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3175557
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect bidirectional impact.
SOLUTION: When the impact force exceeding a detection level is applied to an annular magnet 25 for displacement, a movable plate 26 or 27 waiting in a direction of the impact force is pushed so as to compress a coil spring 30 or 31, and the annular magnet 25 can be displaced out of a sensing area of a lead switch 23. Since the annular magnet 25 can be displaced in two ways of the fore and aft direction (or right and left direction) in relation to a pair of movable plates 26, 27 waiting in the fore and aft direction (or right and left direction), the impact force exceeding a detection level, which is applied along the displacing direction of the annular magnet 25, can be accurately detected independently of the direction. Detection level of the impact force in the fore and aft direction (or right and left direction) can be desirably set in each way by desirably selecting the spring force of the coil springs 30, 31.
