Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: in glasses using normal bifocal lenses, an upper half of one lens is made for a long visual range and a lower half for a short visual range, and thus a user's visual field and field of vision are reduced to the half of normal glasses, and when the user's view point comes and goes across the border between different degrees, the user may suffer glasses sickness; therefore, there is a need for bifocal glasses that do not require the user to change the glasses, has a wide field of view, can quickly change the degree of the lenses, and prevent the user from suffering lens sickness.SOLUTION: A pair of glasses is overlapped on another pair of glasses and they are slid to make a distant state (open state) and a close state (overlapped and closed state). Bifocal glasses have a wide field of view, do not require a user to change glasses, and prevent the user from suffering glasses sickness, the bifocal glasses characterized in having a good fit when worn resulting from an improvement in temples and end tips in accordance with the details of use and situations. Using a lens for blocking light for outside lenses allows switching from prescribed glasses that are normally used to light blocking glasses, that is, glasses having a sunglass effect, which are suitable for driving cars. In these days everybody holds a mobile phone on one hand, the glasses eliminate or reduce time and effort and inconvenience for the user to switch one glasses to another with a different degree and remove the glasses worn before the switching. The degree of the lenses is selected to be the degree for seeing small characters on newspaper or characters on the mobile phone. The degree for seeing small characters-the degree for seeing a normal distance (inside lenses)=the degree to be added (outside lenses).
