Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a diazo copying material good in conveyability in a diazo copying machine and superior in antistatic effect by using an antistatic agent represented by a specified formula for a precoat layer.

CONSTITUTION: The binary type diazo copying material provided with the precoat layer and a photosensitive layer on a support contains in the precoat layer, polyoxyethylkene alkylamine represented by the formula shown on the right in which R is 12W22 C alkyl, and n is an integer of 1W10. It is contained, preferably, in an amount of 0.1W10wt% in the coating fluid for the precoat layer, and, preferably, in an amount of 1W5g/m2 of the support. If the carbon number is <12, a photosensitive solution is too high in diffusivity into the support to prevent it from oozing through the support to the reverse side, and if over 22, the antistatic effect becomes poor. As a result, the obtained diazo copying material is enhanced in the antistatic effect, double feed in automatic paper feed to be avoided, and oozing of the photosensitive solution through the support to the reverse side to be prevented.
