Abstract:
To provide, as a main object, an inorganic fiber molded body containing a binder which has small frictional force and high shear force and surface pressure on the whole surface.SOLUTION: An inorganic fiber molded body containing a binder is constituted by having a first surface and a second surface which are opposed to each other and containing a binder in an organic fiber molded body in which a plurality of recesses are formed. The inorganic fiber molded body containing the binder has a plurality of high concentration binder regions having relatively high binder concentration and a low concentration binder region having relatively low binder concentration other than the high concentration binder regions. The plurality of high concentration binder regions extend in a direction crossing the first surface and the second surface and are scattered on at least the first surface. A volume ratio of the low concentration binder region to the plurality of high concentration binder regions is 1.5 or more and 6.0 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
