PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of work using specially made binding metal fixtures instead of wires, and constituting the binding metal fixtures so that the binding metal fixtures supplied continuously from holders of them are pushed out to the intersection place of reinforcing bars by mechanical force to fit them thereto.

CONSTITUTION: A reinforcement holding section 4 is pushed to the upper part of the intersection place of two reinforcing bars A and A to be bound. After that, when fingers of a hand taking hold of a handle 19 are put on a lever 21 of a cylinder valve 18 to pull it up, a piston 22 of an air-cylinder 6 is lowered, and a pushing member 8 is pushed down along a guide channel 9. With the operation, a pushing lever 14 mounted to the pushing member 8 is also lowered to push the rear 5a of a receiving member 5, so that the receiving member 5 is turned slantly upward against energizing force of a tension spring, and it is brought into contact with the lower part of the intersection place of the intersection reinforcing bars A and A. Simultaneously, the lower end of the lowered pushing member 8 pushes the binding metal fixtures B supplied to the lower end of the guide channel 9 down, the binding metal fixtures B are fitted to the intersection place of the reinforcing bars A and A held in the reinforcement holding section 4, and binding work for the two reinforcing bars A and A is completed with nearly one-touch operation.
