Abstract:

To surely and firmly engage a binding base plate with a restraining plate and to facilitate the adjustment of the binding base panel by removably attaching a heel wall to a side wall of a binding base plate so as to cope with any one of shoes having various sizes.

A binding device for shoes for a snowboard, comprises a binding base panel 1, side walls 3 at opposite sides of the base plate 1, sheath parts 14 attached to the side walls 3 on the heel side, support panels 10 fixed to the sheath parts 14, for supporting a heel wall 4 which is therefore projected rearward of the base 1 in a curved condition, and which is removable. Several upright protrusions are formed on an engaging surface surrounding an opening 5 in the binding base plate 1 along at least one of concentric circles, and several small holes adapted to be fitted onto the protrusions are formed along at least one of concentric circles, on an engaging surface of a restraining plate 6 adapted to be fitted to the engaging surface of the binding based plate 1. Further, knob parts are formed on the upper surface of the restraining plate 6.
