Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding machine that can properly apply a strap in a position in accordance with a size of a paper sheet bundle.SOLUTION: The binding machine 10 includes: an image sensor 20; a control device 30; a positioning mechanism 40; and a strap operation mechanism 50 to apply a strap to a paper sheet bundle P1. The control device 30 includes: a function for acquiring a size of a paper sheet bundle P1 based on output of an image sensor 20; and a function for determining a position of the strap based on the size of the paper sheet bundle P1.
