Abstract:
To solve problems of: significant deterioration in quality of a sheet bundle during a binding processing due to a curled sheet which is stacked on a processing tray, and which cannot be inserted into an opening of a binding device, causing interference in a corner binding mode; and a risk of causing pressing marks on the sheet due to a pressing member which needs to be additionally provided to straighten the curl.SOLUTION: A standby position of a first binding device 26 is arranged at a position retreated from a position where a curl of a sheet is assumed to be located so that the sheet with the curl is moved to a binding position while the curl is straightened during a binding processing. This prevents the sheet from interfering with a binding opening 26k of the first binding device 26 without newly adding a member for straightening the curl.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
