Title:
BINDING FOR SNOWBOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1076040
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To perform various operations related to a function and usage without any need of a manual work by providing a means for causing a heel member and a band to mutually operate like cutting pliers and another means for engaging the band and one of levers with a base.

A skier's feet are faced to a pin 14 when placed on a board from a rear position and the pin 14, when pressed toward a base 2, turns around pins 11 and 11 in a clockwise direction. As a result of the motion. a heel member 3 is pulled on one hand and flat levers 16 and 17 faced to each other are pulled together with a related band 4 on the other hand. Thus, the heel member 3 and the band 4 moves near each other under a substantially cutting pliers type motion. thereby closing the skier's feet with boots put on. When safety binding for a snowboard is fastened at the closed position, the skier can start desired sport activities.
