Abstract:
To provide a binding unit which is easy to handle while arranging, in the same frame, a pressure tooth for pressure-bonding sheets, a water reservoir part for adding water, and a refill pump part for refilling water into the water reservoir part.SOLUTION: A binding unit 60 which pressure-bonds and binds sheets after adding water to the sheets to be placed includes: a pair of pressure teeth (a pressure tooth and a receiving tooth 130) for sandwiching and meshing the placed sheets; a water reservoir part for holding water to be added to the sheet on a rear face opposite to one side to which the pressure teeth meshes; a pressurization member (pressurization piston) for adding water in the water reservoir part to a position where the sheets are meshed; and a refill pump part 150 for refilling water into the water reservoir part, where the refill pump part is disposed in the same frame (outer frame 120) adjacent to the pressure teeth and the water reservoir part disposed on a rear face of the pressure teeth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
