Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a curable bone filling material which can form communicating pores in a living body and into which bone can be penetrated.

CONSTITUTION: In a bone filling material consisting of a powder wherein calcium phosphate-based compd. contg. at least one of tricalcium α-phosphate and tetracalcium phosphate and with the ratio of Ca/p of 1.5-2.0 is a main ingredient and a curing soln. such as water and a citric acid water soln., a bioabsobable polymer substance such as a lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer is incorporated at least in the neighborhood of the surface being brought into contact with a living body.
