The bioassay for measuring an object to be measured included in sample liquid includes: the first step of preparing reagent-mixed sample liquid by mixing into the sample liquid, a carrier particle-containing reagent carrying a biological specific bonding material to be bonded specifically to the object to be measured; the second step of introducing the reagent-mixed sample liquid into a reaction part on a domain between a pair of electrodes; the third step of applying an AC voltage to the pair of electrodes, and assembling carrier particles in the reagent-mixed sample liquid, to thereby generate a biological specific bonding reaction; the fourth step of suspending application of the AC voltage; the fifth step of detecting a particle density from image information of the reaction part; the sixth step of dividing the reaction part into a plurality of domains, and determining only a domain wherein the particle density of each of the plurality of domains is equal to or over a threshold, as an analysis domain; and the seventh step of detecting an agglutination degree of the carrier particles in the analysis domain.
