Abstract:

To provide a novel electronic material excellent in biodegradability, capable of performing charge/discharge operation only by applying an external electric field, and a secondary battery using the same.SOLUTION: A biodegradable electronic material includes a solid charge storage layer formed by coating one surface of a current collector with an organometallic complex formed by bonding transition metals exhibiting a plurality of oxidation numbers to a biodegradable organic polymer. Due to a change in the direction of the electric field applied to the solid charge storage layer through the current collector, electrons are absorbed and emitted between the solid charge storage layer and the current collector, thereby performing charging and discharging.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
