Abstract:
To provide a biodegradable resin composition holding high biodegradability, having high mechanical strength, and achieving commercialization with price competitiveness to petroleum-made synthetic resin by further reduction of cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a biodegradable resin composition consisting of a plant-based material containing at least one selected from underground stems, stems, leaves and branches of at least one selected from bamboo and bamboo leaf material, a binder (B), and polylactic acid (C), with content of the (A) of 95 to 51 mass%, content of the (B) of 17 to 2 mass%, and content of the (C) of 35 to 3 mass%, in which the (B) consists of a combination of 1 or more of casein, soybean protein, gluten, konjac potato powder, starch, dry starch, corn starch, tapioca, and the (A) consists one in a flak shape with a size of 2 to 5 mm of at least one side and 5 mm or less of another side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
