Abstract:
To provide a biological information authentication device capable of suppressing troublesomeness in biological information authentication.SOLUTION: A biological information authentication device 1 is generally configured to include a first piezoelectric element 2 for applying vibration to a transmission member, a second piezoelectric element 3 that detects vibration transmitted through a transmission path 10 in the order of the first piezoelectric element 2, the transmission member, a part of the body of a person to be authenticated that is brought into contact with the transmission member, and the transmission member, and a control unit 4 that calculates biological information of the person to be authenticated based on the vibration added by the first piezoelectric element 2 and the vibration detected by the second piezoelectric element 3 and authenticates whether or not the person to be authenticated is a registrant by comparing the calculated biological information of the person to be authenticated and preregistered biological information of the registrant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
