Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass combustion device that can be operated by using only woody biomass from start to stop, that can maximize advantages of woody biomass as carbon-neutral fuel and that can be operated at low running cost comparing favorably with a conventional combustion device using woody biomass chips as fuel.SOLUTION: To solve the above problem, the following biomass combustion device is provided. The biomass combustion device includes: a combustion furnace having a combustion chamber; a chip supply device for supplying biomass chips to the combustion chamber; a combustion air supply device for supplying combustion air to the combustion chamber; and a biomass powder burner opened toward the combustion chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
