Abstract:
To provide a biopolymer composition having improved flexibility.
A biopolymer composition comprises a polymer blend of a biopolymer and an aliphatic polyester that includes: a repeating unit that can be derived from a substituted or nonsubstituted aliphatic diacid; a repeating unit that can be derived from a substituted or nonsubstituted aliphatic diol; and one or two terminator units that can be derived from a substituted or nonsubstituted aliphatic alcohol. The composition provides improved flexibility, and is useful for production of for example, a packaging material, an industrial product, durability goods and an object resembling the same.
