Abstract:

To provide a biosensor and a biomolecule detection method using the same capable of electrochemically detecting biomolecules which carry electric charges in small amounts.

There are provided the biosensor and the biomolecule detection method which uses the biosensor. The biosensor includes both a sensing part which is arranged on a substrate and in which a target molecule for detection which specifically binds to a probe molecule is immobilized to its surface and a fluid channel for providing the target molecule for detection with a solution to be analyzed including the probe molecule. The probe molecule specifically binds to a target molecule and the target molecule for detection.
