This bird injury-proofing device is so designed as to set up linear bodies such as wires 6 each with a diameter of ≤1. 2 mm above an arm 2 or an infrared communication instrument 3 as an object to be installed, wherein it is preferable that the linear bodies are situated at a height of 30-80 mm above the object, the distance between the support points for the linear bodies is ≤3 m, the object to be installed is a pipe member, and a plurality of the linear bodies along the longitudinal direction of the pipe are either perpendicularly or circumferentially arranged in parallel with one another.
