Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R is group shown by formula II or formula III).
EXAMPLE: 1-[β-D-2',4'-Di(3-(2-chloroethyl)-3-nitrosoureido)-2',3',4',6 '-tetradeoxyara binohexopyranosyl]-imidazole.
USE: An antitumor agent.
PREPARATION: For example, triacetylkasugamine shown by formula IV (Ac is acetyl) is reacted with imidazole in the presence of Lewis acid, hydrolyzed and the acetyl group is removed to give a diamino derivative shown by formula V. Then this compound is condensed with 2-chloroethyl isocyanate to give a bis-chloroethylurea derivative, which is nitrosated with sodium nitrite to give a compound shown by formula I.
