Abstract:
To provide a bit recovery scheme for an asymmetric data channel.
The scheme includes steps of: providing a nonlinear equalization filter with two coefficient sets; using the nonlinear equalization filter with the first coefficient set for compensating defects of a first type of transition between different storage states; and using the nonlinear equalization filter with the second coefficient set for compensating defects of a second type of transition between different storage states.
