To effectively realize synchronization between information reproduction and a program by extracting instruction information multiplexed on bit stream information and received, while extracting a program unit having at least one method and storing the unit, reading the program unit designated by instruction information and executing the method.
A program unit extract section 24 extracts a program unit and transfers the unit to a program unit storage section 26, and a bit string which does not belonging to the program unit is transferred to an instruction extract section 28. The instruction extract section 28 extracts an instruction, with respect to the program unit and transfers the instruction to a program execution section 30 and then transfers other bit string to a dynamic image reproduction section 36. The program execution section 30 reads and executes the program unit according to the instruction. The dynamic image reproduction section 36 decodes a dynamic image bit stream and reproduces the decoded stream. A data composite section 32 composes display data with a dynamic image and outputs the composite data.
