Abstract:
To prevent cutting blades from being damaged and a flange part from being damaged in the case of mounting cutting blades having different blade thicknesses on a blade mount.SOLUTION: A blade exchange device is used in a cutting device. The blade exchange device includes: a holding part for detachably holding one surface side of a cutting blade; a movement part for positioning the holding part at a mounting position at which the holding part holding cutting blades is relatively made to advance/retract with respect to a spindle in the axial direction of the spindle and one surface located oppositely to the other surface of the cutting blade is located at a prescribed distance or less with respect to a flange part of a blade mount, and at a separation position at which the cutting blade is separated from the blade mount; and a thickness information acquisition part for acquiring thickness information on the cutting blade. The mounting position of the holding part is adjusted on the basis of the thickness of the cutting blade acquired by using the thickness information acquisition part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
