Title:
BLADE FIXING DEVICE OF VENEER LATHE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3482271
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To fix a blade securely to the blade table of a veneer lathe under pressure by fastening the spine of the blade supported by the mounting part of the blade table using a pressure holding tool.
CONSTITUTION: The front of a pressure holding tool 20 is prevented from coming into deviated partial contact with the spine of a blade supported by the mounting part 3 of a blade table 2. Further, after supporting the blade 4 on the mounting part 3 of the blade table 2, the lower end of a pressure element 11 is caused to protrude by activating a pressure element activation device. Then the pressure element 11 rotates to the spine of the blade 4, using a support point bolt 10 part as a fulcrum. In this case, the front part of the blade 4 is fixed to the face of a patch 17 of the blade table 2 by the pressure holding tool 20 which presses the spine of the blade 4, following the spine with the support part of the pressure element 11 or the mounting part used as a fulcrum.
