Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of automatically deciding the pressing force to the plate surface of a doctor blade which scrapes off the printing material from the plate surface of an intaglio plate.SOLUTION: A blade pressing force adjustment method in a printer changes the magnitude of the pressing force of a doctor blade to a plate surface Pa between a plurality of levels of temporary setting values while scraping off the printing material adhering to a plate surface by relatively moving the doctor blade with respect to an intaglio plate P with the pressing against the plate surface Pa of the intaglio plate P, obtains the evaluation value indicating the residual amount by detecting the printing material remaining in a non-image line part in a region for each of the plurality of regions in the plate surface Pa pressed with the mutually-different pressing forces by the doctor blade, and decides the filling pressing force of the doctor blade for filling the printing material in the plate surface Pa on the basis of the correlation between the obtained evaluation value and the pressing force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
