Abstract:
To provide a blade replacement device capable of properly retaining a cutting blade.SOLUTION: There is provided a blade replacement device that replaces a cutting blade for cutting a workpiece fixed to a tip part of a spindle that a cutting device comprises, and that has: a carrier unit which has a blade storage part having a movable storage part for the cutting blade on a top surface side of a transparent support member, a retaining part for retaining the cutting blade, and a moving mechanism for moving the retaining part between the storage part and spindle, and carries the cutting blade: and a control unit which has a camera provided on a reverse surface side of the support member, and photographing the retaining part located on the top surface side of the support member through the support member, an operation control part controlling operations of the blade storage part and carrier unit, and a position registration part where positions of the storage part and retaining part in attaching and detaching the cutting blade to and from the blade storage part are registered. The storage part comprises a first mark part which can be photographed by the camera, and the retaining part comprises a second mark part which can be photographed by the camera.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
