Abstract:
To provide a blade replacement device that can smoothly replace a cutting blade.SOLUTION: A blade replacement device is provided that is used for replacing a cutting blade which is attached to a distal end portion of a spindle and is used in a cutting device which cuts a workpiece with the cutting blade, the blade replacement device comprises: a blade storage unit that stores the plurality of cutting blades; a blade conveying unit that conveys the cutting blade between the blade storage unit and the distal end portion of the spindle; a display section; and a control section. The control section comprises: a number-of- blades memorizing section that memorizes the number of cutting blades of the same sort as the cutting blade attached to the distal end portion of the spindle, of the plurality of cutting blades stored in the blade storage unit; a reference-numbers memorizing section that memorizes a reference value of residues of the cutting blades; and an alarm control section that makes the display section display an alarm when the number of the blades memorized in the number-of-blades memorizing section is below the reference value memorized in the reference-numbers memorizing section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
