Abstract:
To provide a blade for a slitter knife that has a longer life than conventional blades.SOLUTION: Wear of a blade edge is found to be suppressible with cutting quality maintained, by forming a slitter knife blade 1 into a shape projecting from the blade edge toward a direction of a rotation axis and by setting surface roughness into an appropriate range. The slitter knife blade 1 according to the present invention is attached to a slitter together with a mating blade so as to overlap at least a part of the blade edge 11. In the slitter knife blade 1 for cutting paper and corrugated board, arithmetic mean roughness of a surface 12 overlapping the mating blade 2 is 0.05 to 0.4 (μm), and a cross-sectional shape including the rotation axis in the surface 12 overlapping the mating blade 2 is inclined outward in a thickness direction from a peripheral edge and toward a rotation center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
