To provide a blanket for printing which inhibits the shape deterioration of a pattern even in its operation in the continuous printing mode and reproduces a fine pattern with high precision for a long time and a method for manufacturing the blanket as well as a printing method using the blanket for printing.
The blanket for printing 10 has at least a surface printing layer 12 made of a silicone rubber and a heating element layer 14 formed under the former. The printing method is to transfer ink for a printing plate to an object to be printed through the blanket 10. That is, the printing method is characterized in that the surface printing layer 12 is heated by the heating element layer 14 formed on the blanket 10 during the period when the ink on the blanket 10 is transferred to the object and the ink on the printing plate is transferred anew to the surface of the blanket 10.
