Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a traveling mower free from the scattering of mowed grass, enabling easy adjustment of mowing height and improvement of work efficiency and easily handleable in transportation and housing.
CONSTITUTION: This traveling mower is supported by a traveling wheel 6 and provided with a rotary blade 3 attached to the tip end of the machine body and horizontally rotating by an engine 2. A supporting arm 11 is elongated forward at a side of the machine body opposite to the rotating direction of the rotary blade 3, an auxiliary wheel 12 is placed at the tip end of the supporting arm 11, an operation handle 20 is elongated at the back of the machine body, the height and the direction of the auxiliary wheel 12 are freely adjustable and the supporting arm 11 is foldable upward at nearly the middle part of the arm.
